By Bus
From the south airport you can take bus number 10 in the direction of Santa Cruz, which leaves every 30 minutes. It takes about 40 minutes to arrive at the Caletillas (T) bus stop, from here we are happy to pick you up – just let us know prior to your arrival so we can organise your transfer.
From the north airport take any of the buses to the intercambiador in Santa Cruz, then change to the 111 heading south to Costa Adeje. From Santa Cruz it takes about 20 minutes to arrive at the Candelaria (T) bus stop, where we’ll be happy to pick you up – just let us know prior to your arrival so we can organise your transfer.
For bus travel you’ll likely need a travel card, it’s called a “Ten+ tarjeta”. You can buy these easily from the airports and it’s super useful (and cheaper!) for travelling via bus around the island.
By car
By car, Google Maps is your friend! You can easily search for “Maraya Coliving”, or use our address “Camino de la Punta 29-31, 38530 Candelaria” to find us. You’ll turn off onto a little road, pass by mango tree fields either side and at the end (about 200m) you’ll arrive at a white house with blue window frames (the only one in the area) and that’s Maraya!
By Taxi
Taxi is another easy way to arrive at Maraya and on Tenerife taxi’s are relatively cheap compared to the rest of Europe.
Tell the taxi driver you want to go to: Camino de la Punta 29-31, 38530 Candelaria. If for any reason they are unable to find us, just get in contact and we can speak to the driver for you.
From the south airport it will be ~55 euros and from the north airport ~35 euros.
By Pick up
To make things super easy we’re also able to pick you up from either the north or south airports. An airport pick up from the south costs €40 and an airport pick up from the north costs €30 (there is a +€10 surcharge for pickups between 23:00 – 07:00). To organise a pick up let us know as soon as you can so we can organise and confirm your transfer.
By plane
There are two airports on Tenerife, the south airport (TFS, next to El Medano) and the north airport (TFN, next to La Laguna). International flights mainly land in the south, and national Spanish flights usually in the north. After arriving you have many options to transfer to Maraya, by bus, taxi or car (see details above).
By boat
Tenerife has seven island neighbours that in total form the archipelago of the Canary Islands, therefore it could also be likely that you arrive by boat, or maybe you decided to sail across from Spain or Morocco! Either way, the boats/ferries usually arrive either in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the north or in Los Cristianos in the south. From either of these locations you can either take a bus (we’re always happy to collect you from the bus stop in Candelaria – just let us know in advance) or to arrive by car/taxi (see details above). If you’re unsure about any of the options just get in contact and we’d be happy to help.
